Meet Oliver Salazar

I'm Oliver Salazar, founder of Salazar Marine Work Ltd. My passion for the ocean began in my hometown, a small fishing village in Chile, where I grew up surrounded by nature and outdoor adventure. My journey in the marine industry started in 1999, repairing surfboards for friends. This early interest led me to one of Chile's largest ports in 2005, where I gained hands-on experience building fiberglass components for industrial and commercial boats.

In 2014, I moved to New Zealand to further refine my skills. Over the years, I've specialized in boat building, composite repair, spray painting, fairing, and carbon fiber work. My dedication to quality craftsmanship and large-scale marine projects has shaped my career and reputation in the industry.

Today, I'm proud to lead Salazar Marine Work Ltd, a company built on experience, hard work, and a deep love for boating. My goal is to provide top-quality marine services and share my expertise with New Zealand's boating community.
